Mothers Day Gift is a still life I did a number of years ago. My parents sent me flowers on Mothers Day which I thought was odd until I read the card. They wrote that since their mothers were both deceased they decided to honor me that year. I think their gift made for a striking still life. This is one Mothers Day Gift I will never forget. What a wonderful way to honor a child that has become a mother. I especially like the warm/cool color contrast due to the morning light effect.
Since I cannot guarantee that this pastel would arrive without pastel dust on the mat the buyer will have to take it loose on cardboard wrapped in acetate. The buyer then can have it framed to suit individual taste.
