"Bridge in Woods" is a medium sized oil of one of Virginia's beautiful creek scenes. I especially like the evening light and the flowing rapids in this painting.

When I was a child I spent much of my time at a creek near our house. There was a huge rock there that I liked to sit on. We called it Granddaddy Rock.
