Artist's Description
Fog on Mountain Lake is a languid view of this beautiful Resort in Giles County, VA. This was the setting for the movie, Dirty Dancing with Patrick Swayze. I have spent many hours swimming with friends in this lake and my husband, son, and I stayed at the resort twice. It is one my favorite mountain hideaways. It is a natural lake and unfortunately the lake has been draining for years. I am so glad I painted a number of scenes from there before that happened.
