Artist's Description
Dolphin Dance is another of my Kendall Expressions paintings. In these works I am letting my expressive side take over. My work is essentially representational but I have always leaned towards expressive interpretations of what I see. In these paintings I am choosing colors and textures that energize the subject in a way that scintillates the surface for a unique visual experience.
The last time we visited Isle of Palms in South Carolina we stayed at a house on the canal side of the Island and we were thrilled to witness dolphins dancing on the water! What a treat!
