Artist's Description
Rolling Shadows is a vibrant shadow pastel of a scene in the woods near Pandapas pond in Giles County Virginia. This was a dry summer and the water beneath the bridge had dried up for a while. I thought the shadows rolling around the stream bed and bank made wonderful, intricate patterns of shade. My main medium is oil painting but I love all mediums and soft pastels is my second favorite. I am very proud of the American Artist award I won from prominent pastelist, Daniel Greene.
