Claytor Lake Memory is an intensely colored impasto painting of the gazebo at the Howe House of Claytor Lake State Park. Years ago my husband told Tall Tales to large crowds of visitors. He was the park interpreter and this was his way of introducing visitors to the people and culture of South West Virginia. It was a big hit and the local newspaper featured him in an article. I love this park and we visit there often.
