On the Way to the Cascades Sketch is a whimsical look at light and shade at the popular park in Giles County, Virginia. This setting is one of the first views a hiker sees on the way to the popular waterfall. I decided to play with the light and shade and accomplished an eerie, other worldly effect. In the final version I used a red/blue contrast that scintillates the scene!
