Getting ready for Thanksgiving with my husband's family. Usually I just bring a desert but this time I am bringing everything. My mother-in-law is not up to it this year. It is about time she took a break and I am bringing a lot of stuff that I hope doesn't come back home to me.

Since several family members don't like turkey so I am bringing turkey and ham and a lot of other traditional dishes. Looking forward to seeing everybody and I am not setting my scale back ten pounds as is advised on Facebook. I just won't step on it for a few days. It doesn't matter that much. I don't stuff myself at holiday meals. I love to eat and eating too much ruins the experience for me.

Anyway, hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving!

I sent Clyde on a art supplies mission the other day. The best store for art supplies in this area is in Blacksburg where he works. I wrote down what I needed very carefully but I explained the brush I needed several times. I needed a no. 4 round ox hair oil paint brush, not a flat one.

I told him several times there are flat ones and there are round ones.

Yes, and there is partial brain dead and completely brain dead. I am the latter.

Ha ha. You can do it. Just think of the frown on my face if you get it wrong.

Okay. Now I have incentive. I won't get it wrong.
