I am really getting into Acrylics these days. I can remember a time when I just didn't like them at all.  The fast drying time didn't work well with the way I used to paint but now I can pretty much make paint sit up and beg.  I will always like oils the best but now the fast drying time of acrylics is an asset to certain types of my paintings. 

Since I am working on some expressive nude paintings I am pleased to be able to paint many layers in the first stages.  The colors are strong and sometimes a water medium is great!  No smell of mineral spirits.  Anyway, check out the first stage of my new nude!  I don't have a title for it yet and it is not on my website but it will be soon!
