Still working on Music without Words paintings and looking forward to one more, this time a large one with a lot of depth. I know that the illusion of depth is the main reason I like to work from nature most of the time.
Since I like that effect in my representational works I think it will be a good idea to incorporate depth in a non-figurative one. I have some ideas in my head and I hope to start tomorrow. Today has been a whirlwind of computer work that is still not done. Hope to get finished soon but I usually work in the evenings, too.
Oh well, this is the life I have chosen. If I could give up painting I wouldn't be working so hard to promote it but I can't give it up so back to promo!

Life with The Word and Bird Man - Clyde Kessler
Yesterday I was washing dishes when I remembered I did not have my glasses on. I can't get them clean without my glasses. I was so surprised when I remembered they were on my head I had to run and tell Clyde.
Clyde, I now know for sure there is hope for me.
You got a big enough shovel to send me out the door?
No, I remembered I had my glasses on my head and didn't run all over the house to find them. And they don't make shovels that big.
Maybe you can take two snow shovels and attach them together.
Too much work. Back to the dishes.
