When we were visiting family last week we got into some interesting conversations with my brother who has a Ph.D in Computer Science and was working on restoring some old computers from the '90s. I'll bet he never hits a computer with a hammer.

It is great to talk with someone as knowledgeable as he is about the computer takeover. He has no desire to get a car that drives itself and he doesn't want a lot of computer gadgets in a car.

His comment on computer screens in cars was,

Why would you want a computer screen in your car? So it can distract you and then you die?
