So pleased to sell another print of Richmond on the James!  Memphis Lights was the most popular Skyline painting but Richmond on the James is now number one!  I decided to get back to these popular expressive works and just completed one for Austin Texas that was begun on Youtube!

Life with The Word and Bird Man - Clyde Kessler

We have a cardinal that is about to beat its bird brain right out of his head.  It is seeing its reflection in the window and keeps on clobbering it.  We have tried everything to prevent  this.  We have taped over the window with newsprint. We have posted a hawk but nothing stops this bird from pummeling itself. 

Clyde said maybe it is trying to get in to knock the computer over.

Why would it do that? 

Competition.  More people are on the computer than outside looking at nature. 

Well, it may have to get in line.  I'm about ready to chuck it out the window myself and let gravity do the work so I won't have to anymore.
