Dragging along singing a song

February 27th, 2024

Dragging along singing a song

Dragging along, singing a song, trying to get things done. Music is always going through my head. Good thing I love music.

Dental appointment this afternoon. Not looking forward to that. Cleanings have become too painful with the new equipment they are using.

That scraping and spraying at the same time really hurt so I requested to have the old method of scraping and then spraying.

Hope they have someone that will do that.

Already muted

Already muted

Kind of glad my Yoga teacher can't meet with us today.

We have a bunch of doctor's appointments this week starting with today so I will do a recorded Yoga later.

Still cussing here and there and I won't have to be sure the session is muted.

That is always nice!

Drawing a Blank Again

Drawing a Blank Again

Usually I can think of something to say but I am drawing a big blank today.

Not doing any actual drawing but I will be painting soon!

I'll bet Clyde will ask me what a big blank looks like after I draw one.

Life with a writer. Always playing with words.

Movie Night Tonight

Movie Night Tonight

I love movie night and this time we are watching Tuck Everlasting.

This movie is based on a children's story that they modified into a story about two teenagers.

It has a great cast including Ben Kingsley, Sissy Spacek, William Hurt, and Amy Irving.

Great movie!

Whoops

Whoops

Yesterday I complained about a Youtuber putting the comment "sick" on one of my youtubes.

A Wordpress friend said "sick" is now a great compliment. Well, I deleted the comment and can't get it back so I made a Youtube explaining the error.

I hope the guy sees this one and from now on I will look up words that may be slang rather than their original meaning.

He isn't subscribed to my channel and I don't remember the name of his. Oh well. Live and Learn but often times it is Live and Learn too late.

Deleted that comment

Deleted that comment

I post a short 15 - 60 second Youtube every day and get great comments on my work!

Today one of the comments was "sick".

Now, I know that some guys call girls Fat spelled PHAT for pretty hot and tempting but I doubt that a "sick" comment on a ocean sunset with birds and a sailboat is some sort of compliment.

I deleted that one.

I don't think that is what it means...

I don

Our new oven that broke down under warranty was replaced yesterday.

It is easy to operate so I did not read the book for the last one. This time I will in case there is something we need to know that is not obvious.

Anyway, chapter 14 is Trouble Shooting.

Clyde said does that mean if it gives us trouble we should shoot it? Love it!

On no. Not the TV

On no. Not the TV

Last night our TV decided to show a screen saver and all we could get were audios from some of the stations. We did not want to pretend we were in the Radio days.

We assumed the TV, which is not very old, was shot. Today we called the Cable provider and learned the TV is not shot.

We got back many of the channels and the provider is coming over tomorrow to find out why we aren't getting the others.

Glad we don't have to buy a new TV!

We don't need an ice berg detector

February 18th, 2024

We don

Weird thing happened upstairs. Two of our smoke alarms were beeping every few seconds for many days.

We, of course, thought they were in need of new batteries. The strange thing is they only beeped every few seconds at night when the temperature got down to 68 degrees.

They never beeped during the day. I told Clyde we didn't need an ice berg detector, but I think we had some.

Anyway, we replaced the batteries and they stopped. Maybe it was a ghost hitting the buttons at night.

LOL I think.
