The reason older people have trouble recalling things is after all those decades they have amassed a huge storehouse of information and it takes a while to find what they are looking for.

This site that I blog from suggests that I add a catchy title.

Well, I doubt Stumped is catchy but I just don't have anything to say today. Maybe tomorrow.

There are sensors all over this house.

We have been hearing a weird beep for days and could not figure out where it was coming from so we, once again, called for help.

It turns out it is an old sensor that is beeping for no reason in the crawl space.

Glad it was not a big problem.

A lot of people in the south consider dinner to be the middle meal and supper is the evening meal.

Clyde is one of them.

Today we are having a big meal in the middle of the day and he is going to have some breakfast food tonight.

He calls it Brupper rather than Brenner.

To each his own!

Every day I seem to run out of energy when I still have things I want to get done.

Most of them have to do with camera work so today I got most of that done and now I am on to other things. Yea!

Drawing a blank. Since artists draw in one way or another from nature or their minds that is kind of a weird phrase.

Very tired and just don't have anything to say today. As always, lots to do so cheers on a busy Saturday!

Yesterday I made a butter pecan cake with cream cheese icing in a long pan.

I wanted to cut it into pieces and put them on a nice cake platter.

The first one crumbled in half. The second one turned over on to the icing side when I tried to get it out of the pan.

Well, of course, I had to eat those two. I decided to just leave the cake in the long pan. Great cake but two pieces was too much. I should have called in the family reserves to help me out.

Oh well. Cake tonight for our movie night with friends!

I have never been a good sleeper. It usually takes me quite a while to get to sleep no matter how hard I work during the day.

My husband goes right to sleep.

We used to go to bed at the same time but now he goes to bed a little earlier than me. I always like to hug him when we get into bed but since he is already asleep these days I stopped doing that.

Then I remembered how easily he gets to sleep and decided to just wake him up.

He doesn't mind at all and goes right back to sleep after a few minutes. Must be nice!

I needed to go to the store for one thing I have been meaning to buy for a long time.

There were some other things I needed so I made a list.

The item I needed the most was not on the list. I realized that yesterday when I saw the old one I wanted to replace.

I have got to do better than this.

Okay, we only got an inch of snow but sometimes I wish I could go back in time to my childhood snow days.

It was such a thrill to see all that snow and play in it.
