Red Rose Beauty is an oil painting that was demonstrated on Youtube. Just the first stages were on the video. All the other layers were added later. This painting is done in the traditional thin to thick method. Several viewers requested a painting demo so I did one in the methods I was taught to use. My work has greatly evolved over the years but it was an interesting experience to go back in time for this one. I think it turned out very well!
My paintings have been seen throughout the United States in national, international, and group shows. I have won numerous awards, including awards from Dorothy Gillespie, May Stevens, Frank Webb, and Daniel Greene. My paintings were in two group shows on Broadway and my biography is included in The Original Marquis Who's Who in America.
