Pawleys Island Sunrise in the Sand is an intensely vibrant morning ocean scene at this beautiful South Carolina beach. I am especially pleased with the atmosphere and the strong color contrast.
The painting is in a metal frame.
When I was in school one of my professors often remarked that my colors had the same burning quality that is found in the work of Vincent Van Gogh. I have lost count of the number of times I have been compared to that great artist!
