Description

Heron's Cove is a serene, colorful soft pastel painting of a beautiful river scene. The bird pictured is an egret and the reflections and ripples make this a peaceful and gentle landscape.

I married The Bird Man, Clyde Kessler, and I have learned a lot about birds and butterflies from him. His discovery of the endangered Mitchel Satyr in 1998 is considered to be one of the most important wildlife finds in the second half of the twentieth century in Virginia.

The pastel is loose on a cardboard backing. Buyer will have to have it framed. I cannot frame it and guarantee that it will arrive without pastel dust on the mat.

I live to paint and it is important to me to find homes for all of my creations. I have originals and prints in twenty-one states, Canada, Germany, and Australia. I want to cover the world with my art.
