Pawley's Island is a colorful view of some wonderful examples of South Carolina shore architecture. For a number of summers we have been visiting Pawley's Island and Isle of Palms. I have painted several scenes from Pawley's and two of Isle of Palms.
I plan to do more in the future. These paintings bring back especially fond memories of the shore. My family spent our summers at Rehoboth Beach in Delaware and I am not happy if I don't get to the shore once a year. I love to body surf and walk along the beach. I also love beach architecture and all the colorful frame houses.
