I am so pleased to sell two prints from my Suggestions series to a great Va patron! This patron contacted me about looking at some originals, too. He recently bought a condominium on beautiful Smith Mountain Lake. I will be pleased to have some of my work at that great location!
If you haven't checked out my Suggestions gallery on my website, please do! These are paintings that are only available in print form. Sometimes I like to just put paint on paper and look for images to show up and then I bring them out for a strong expressionistic effect. I use inexpensive acrylic paint and inexpensive paper for these paintings which is why I don't have them for sale but they are great in print form!
Most patrons buy them for wall art but they are available on clothes, computer items, beach items, and kitchen items. The two that were bought for wall art are Sunflower Burst and Wading. Wading that is picture above is one of my favorites from this series! The other one that sold is Sunflower Burst. Check them out in the Suggestions Gallery for print options!

I have always had problems with popular phrases. I guess I am the stick in the mud that would have had no problem letting Latin die. We all know that if language does not change, it dies. Well, I always thought the use of the word "cool" was weird and didn't use it for most of my life.
Since it just won't go away I finally started to use it a few years ago. Like I said. I am a real stick in the mud. Do people use stick in the mud these days? Anyway, I am getting irritated with the phrase, it is what is it. I asked Clyde if it is what it is, what is it?
His response. If it is what it is it might be what it ain't. You have to think about that one but I like it!
