I am having a great time working on my latest addition to my Beautiful Nudes series! I keep wondering when it is going to start aggravating me. It is in acrylics and acrylics don't usually aggravate me the way oil paint does. Don't misunderstand. I love to paint and I really do live to paint but it isn't easy. If it were easy I think it would be boring and I would give it up. It is always a new experience that challenges all that I am as an artist.
It is such an intense mind experience. As long as I can stand up I will paint. I know many people think artists sit and some do but most do not because they have to walk back and forth and see how the work looks at a distance. It shouldn't only exist up close. We want the experience to carry far into a space.
Time to get into that space and get to work!
