I am so pleased that my favorite abstract painting, Gentle Fall, has a great Virginia home! There is a rather mystical look to the impasto surface of this work, hence the title. I prefer to work from representational subject matter but I also like paintings that are like music without words and am proud of my efforts.

Many times I have mentioned how I try to eat organic food as much as possible. A lot of people think some of our health problems may be coming from pesticides and I think we are better off without pesticides whenever possible.

Anyway, Clyde thinks some of the people selling organic food may be taking it a little too far. I don't agree but he thinks it won't be long before pet owners can buy organic chew toys for puppies.

Okay, that might be a little over board.
