Yikes!  I practically live in  front of a computer or in my studio and the insect on my thigh was a deer tick!  How in the world did I get a deer tick.  I am hardly ever outside.  I guess one came in to get warm and attached itself to me.  Little stinker. They sure are small. 

Clyde's entomologist friend confirmed it was a deer tick but said he didn't think it had bit me.  Well, then why was there a pretty big crater in my leg with what looked like a tag hanging down that covered the tick?  Anyway, I had blood drawn for the Lymes disease test.  Not taking any chances.
