I am finally to my blog after a lot of work!  I am so glad to sell another original painting to a great Virginia patron!  Secluded Home which is pictured below is a personal favorite and I am glad it will have a good home.  This one has such a nice atmosphere and intense brushwork. As always wall art prints and prints on just about anything are available by clicking the link below the painting!

Now I have to build a crate which is always a lot more work then you think it would be.  Shipping artwork is tricky.  The painting has to be double boxed and immobilized. I have to cut out the cardboard for the two boxes and put them together.  I have so many different sizes of paintings that I can't order boxes. They don't make the kind of box I need.  It is so easy to damage artwork and I take every precaution to prevent that from happening. 

Since I am so busy right now I have decided to upload a short video on Monday about this sale and show some other works in my studio instead of a Painting Demo.  Those videos take quite a lot of time even though they are not very long.  I do a lot of prep regarding what I will paint and how it will be presented as I try to have a pleasant conversation at the same time.

I know I have mentioned before that I don't like all this computerization of our lives but it is great that  I can reach patrons on the internet.

Still, like I said before if they ever computerize the bathroom I will need an out house.

Clyde did that one better. He said if bathrooms are computerized he is afraid someone will hack his toilet.  It might even leave without him.
