Blue Ridge Parkway Artist
Can't think of much to say today except I finished the second stage of Pawleys Island Atmosphere and am looking forward to the last stage. The first stage that is getting a lot of hits is in the video at the top of this post. I will post the second stage on my website connected with Fine Art America soon.
I am working hard to finish my independent website with Wix but it will take a long time. There is a lot to see already but a lot more needs to be added and then I need to learn how to promote it effectively.
I have also decided, for now, to just send out my newsletter from Fine Art America. I started one with another site because I thought the number of paintings that could be added on the Fine Art America one was too few. Either they have changed their format or I was not working it correctly. There is plenty of room so I will not use the other one that aggravates me no end. The computer really likes to burp and default big time with that site and I have had enough!

Life with The Word and Bird Man - Clyde Kessler
You know you have been living with a Bird Watcher or Birder, as they say, for a very long time when you go looking for him when you see unusual birds on the internet. Lots of times people want an identification of an unusual species or an explanation of certain types of behavior so I ask The Bird Man and he groans he should be paid for his expertise but he always helps out.
Sometimes I wonder about all these Nature programs. Are there any other inhabitants of this planet that are carefully studying us, making reports, and trying to figure out our behaviors? I don't think so but I do love the cartoon with bird using binoculars!
Crows are very smart and have learned to adapt to the changes we have made in the environment so I am just waiting for one of them to fly off with Clyde's binoculars and start checking us out. Wonder what they would say about all the paintings I make.
Clyde said they have probably learned to read and they want him to hit the delete button on all those poems he writes. That would explain all the bird noise right outside the window.
