Description

Orange Light at Mount Vernon is one of a series of creative lithographs that I did based on this beautiful home of George Washington. In each lithograph I have created a special mood with the light and color that add visual magic to the scene. In this one dusk light has taken over the room. Most school children are taken to this impressive architectural treasure and I was taken there when I was in Junior High. It was a great trip! I am especially pleased with the dazzling light effect in this one.

The lithograph is in a white mat.

My paintings have been seen throughout the United States in national, international, and local shows. I have won numerous awards, including awards from Dorothy Gillespie, May Stevens, Frank Webb, and Daniel Greene.

My best-selling print, "Reaching Out", was selected from over three million works of art on Fine Art America to be on the set of The Mindy Project and I appeared with my artwork on The Hour of Joy on FoxTV out of Roanoke on March 10th 2013.
